While the rides were booked through Carlos, he would send drivers from his network. Our favourite driver was Elbert. We had him about 3 times. Elbert was super kind. He even let us stop to see the crocodile bridge and go ATV riding.

The vans used for the transportation are spacious and clean. The roads in Costa Rica can be tricky so it was great to have drivers who are so familiar with the roads. We always felt very safe.

I would 100% use Arenal Rides in the future!!

Carlos nos llevó a algunos lugares familiares en el camino para observar aves y nos ayudó a detectar algunas ranas venenosas que nunca hubiéramos podido detectar por nuestra cuenta. (¡Hicimos un par de caminatas guiadas más adelante en nuestro viaje y nunca vimos otra!) También nos mostró esta increíble ceiba MASIVA de 500 años: ¡súper genial! En un viaje, tuvimos que parar en un cajero automático para retirar efectivo y Carlos, pensativo, nos llevó a un banco con un tipo de cambio y una tarifa de retiro más bajos.

Elbert nos llevó a un par de tiendas de souvenirs camino a Manuel Antonio y fue muy paciente mientras nos tomábamos nuestro tiempo para mirar a nuestro alrededor. Fue muy atento, se ofreció a parar para ir al baño en cualquier momento y nos dejó elegir música en su Spotify.

Estos muchachos son personas realmente fantásticas y viajar con ellos se sintió como viajar en carretera con amigos. Son muy atentos, atentos, puntuales, agradables y realmente hicieron que moverse por un país extranjero fuera mucho menos estresante de lo que podría haber sido.

¡Definitivamente usaremos Arenal Rides nuevamente cada vez que estemos de visita!
